Interpreting Spoken Languages in Education Settings - Intermediate Level

TEN Modules, live sessions, guest speakers, language-specific mentors, independent activities and final assessment.

2025 Sessions: February 6 - April 10, 2025; live sessions on Thursdays (6:30 pm - 8:30 pm ET)

October 2 - December 11, 2025; live sessions on Thursdays (6:30 pm - 8:30 pm ET)

Interpreting Spoken Languages in Education Settings - Advanced Level

SEVEN Modules, live sessions, guest speakers, language-specific mentors, independent activities and final assessment. Nationally accredited for 10.00 instructional CE hours by CCHI.

2025 Sessions: January 13 - February 24, 2025; live sessions on Mondays (6:30-8:30 pm ET)

September 15 - October 27, 2025; live sessions on Mondays (6:30 pm - 8:30 pm ET)

Translation in Education Settings

Twelve hours of language neutral content (editing tools, semantic/stylistic nuances), and 8 hours of Spanish translation strategies (idiomatic expressions, false cognates, collocations and more).

2025 Session:
Language neutral: February 11 - March 18, 2025; live sessions on Tuesdays (4 pm - 6 pm ET)
Spanish Translation Focus: March 25 - April 15, 2025; live sessions on Tuesdays (4 pm - 6 pm ET)

NAETISL is an approved provider of training for spoken language interpreters for the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE). We are currently offering fall and winter Tier 2 and Tier 3 courses open to enrollees from all districts in MA.
